The CDF group is made up of its active members, all amateurs and volunteers, coming from the French-speaking communities of London.
From preparation to production, as well as administration, all of the association's activities are therefore mainly managed by its members.
Beyond acting opportunities, we ask for each active member (depending on one's skills and will to learn) to take on responsibilities relating to the association's main activities and the company'sas a whole.
Therefore, we are not searching for "actors only" but for people motivated to work on a common group creation. These new members must bring enthusiasm and help in various areas such as:
- Administration (managing of theatre, fundraising, secretarial work...);
- Communication (graphic and web creation, copy-writing, marketing...);
- Artistic creation (directing, stage management, set, playwright, musician...);
- Lighting and/or sound engineerings;
- etc.

As of the 1st of September 2010, the annual contribution as an active member is £1.
As far as acting is concerned, auditions are usually held during Fall.

If you feel you have rather a « technical soul » please get in touch for an interview, whenever you feel ready, between September and June.
We usually meet twice a week and generally in Central London.

ATTENTION!!
Regarding acting (comedy), it is essential that that your stay in London covers a full theatrical season. Therefore you must be available from September of the current year until June of the following.
Also, please remember that if we ask you to join our group after your audition, you will not be able to act in one of our "main productions" until the following season.

As of the 1st of September 2010, the annual contribution as an affiliated member is £5.
Affiliates members cannot take an active part in the plays but are welcome to all other activities of the association. They receive some advantages, such as reductions on admission fees.
